What is a basic search?

You can enter any text in the search field. The system looks for it in the properties and body of all documents.

What is an advanced search?

You can enter text in separate fields for part number, title, description, and keyword. [Keyword] searches for text in the body of the documents. You can also limit your search to a specific platform or document type.

Can I search for multiple words?

You can use AND, OR, and NOT to narrow your search. For example, searching for 'stapler AND endoscope' finds documents that include both words. However, you cannot use quotation marks to identify a phrase.

Can I search for partial words?

You can search for words that start with the text you enter. For example, searching for 'stapl' finds 'staple' and 'stapling'. However, you cannot use wildcards, such as ? or *.

Can I further limit the search results?

Yes, use [Filter By] to search within the search results, and [Narrow By] to show only specific platforms and document types.

Can I search for documents in other languages?

Yes, but only certain language documents are available in each country. To change the language or location, click the flag icon.

Can I order printed documents?

Yes, but some documents can be ordered only as part of a set. To obtain a hard copy, submit a no-charge purchase order through the standard ordering process.
